This application provides users with a functional tool for calculating the distance of a thunderstorm by measuring the interval between a flash of lightning and the subsequent sound of thunder.

Instructions for Use:

The application leverages the principle that light travels significantly faster than sound. By calculating the time elapsed between seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder, users can estimate the distance to the storm by multiplying this duration by the speed of sound.
